Additional requirements:

1. In his or her prior academic education abroad, the applicant must have achieved excellent study results which are relevant for the programme for which the student wishes to enroll. As an indication, the student will be among the top 10% for the relevant programme followed abroad
2. The applicant will hold a non-EU/EEA passport and will not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans ("Studiefinanciering"; more information)
3. Scholarships will not be awarded to applicants who have already obtained a Leiden University master’s degree
4. Students who are granted a Leiden Excellence Scholarship must comply with and confirm in writing their agreement with the terms and conditions (pdf) attached to the scholarship prior to the granting of the scholarship.

Scholarship Amount:

The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship programme has 5 awards:

Platinum	Covers the tuition fee minus the home fee* and an allowance of €10,000 for living costs
Gold	Covers the tuition fee minus the home fee*
Silver	Covers 75% of the tuition fee
Bronze	Covers 50% of the tuition fee
Ivory	Covers 25 % of the tuition fee

The number and type of award of the scholarship depends on the budget available for each Faculty department. The type of award has no reflection on the students' academic level of excellence.

* The tuition fee will be reduced to the amount of the home fee. Students who have been awarded a Platinum or Gold award still have to pay the home fee themselves.

Function
The Department of Health Technology Assessment conducted research into
costs and effects of
medical interventions to support decision making. For example, this
cost-effectiveness studies of clinical trials, but there are also
model studies with state-of-the-art modeling techniques. The
department focuses on a number of specific areas of expertise:
discrete-event modeling, value of information analysis, blood safety
models, stroke models and cost-effectiveness analyzes of national
screening programs. The department is part of the Julius Center (see

At this time, data on blood transfusions are not structurally
collected and analyzed. The PROTON2 study we want to change this by
setting a data warehouse which besides transfusion data from Dutch
hospitals also detailed data on the blood products themselves are
housed. Due to this combination, it becomes possible to determine the
cause of undesirable transfusion reactions, or other clinical outcomes
to link characteristics of the products, production or donors.
Furthermore, the results are used to control the blood for use in
different patient groups
of different hospitals to compare. The ultimate goal is to use the
hard data that the study yields PROTON2, safety and efficiency of
blood transfusions in the Netherlands to improve. You will help in the
design and construction of the data warehouse, perform various
statistical analyzes and will be engaged in the Solving methodological
problems in answering different
research questions. The research will you, as a PhD student, end with
a academic promotion.

framework of the UNESCO Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme, the Government of
the People's Republic of China has renewed in January 2012, the offer of twenty-five (25)
fellowships for advanced studies in varied subjects for the benefit of certain Member

Offered in open competition, these fellowships are intended for senior advanced
students wishing to pursue non-degree post-graduate studies for one year at Chinese

(25) most deserving candidates. Given that UNESCO grants priority to gender

Details of the Scholarships
The scholarships provide an opportunity for students of diverse backgrounds from all countries in Asia to study and do research work together in the truly international environment at AIT, to build a good foundation for international understanding among people of Asia.
Each scholarship award covers tuition and fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT’s residential campus, for the entire period of the 22-month master’s degree program, with values as shown in the following table:

The Flemish policy research centre on Entrepreneurship and Regional Economics advises the Flemish government on subjects related to entrepreneurship and the spatial aspects of the economy. Particular attention goes towards smart specialisation strategies, i.e. strategies of governments that concentrate available resources in some selected promising activity sectors in order to generate sustainable economic growth. Following topics will be part of the research:

· distribution of economic activity in the region of Flanders

· how networks between and within spatial clusters of economic activity function

· how institutional capacity can be built at different levels to boost the development of clusters

· You prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of Regional Economics within the framework of the Flemish policy research centre for entrepreneurship and regional economics;

· You contribute to teaching and research in the Department of Transport and Regional Economics;

· You prepare a Ph.D. thesis of the research project;

· You contribute to the research of the policy research centre at the Department of Transport and Regional Economics (University of Antwerp);

Application Procedures: Indonesia Panasonic Office will select Panasonic Scholarship candidates in three phases, as follow :

PHASE I.
All candidates must apply through (and only by) electronics application. This first selection will seek a record of the applicants overall data including: biographical information, academic records (GPA), language capabilities, and readiness to enroll master degree program in Japan. The e-application submission will be closed on MARCH 17th, 2012 . In Phase I, 100 (hundreds) applicants will be selected as semifinalist and their names will be announced in MARCH 22th 2012 . via e-mail and website.
PHASE II.
Semifinalists will be notified and receive an official application form through login and download from Panasonic Scholarship Indonesia website (user and password will deliver only to 100 (hundreds) Semifinalist later.
The form will require detailed biographical data, academic report (transcript), an essay of master research proposal, personal recommendations, and Professor acceptance. The semifinalist must submit official application form (item 1 until 5) as mentioned below by mail with deadline on APRIL 30th, 2012.

ASEAN-BAC Scholarships will be based on academic performance and will include:

• Free U—PUP (University Prep Semester) with an opportunity to practice English, learn valuable study skills, and prepare for top quality university education.
• Free tuition for the first academic year
• Modern dormitory and healthy meals
• Health care during TTU career.
• The ASEAN-BAC Scholarship will not include airplane tickets and will not be paid in cash.

The scholarship for the next year will be based on the academic performance that is calculated upon the American 4-point scale

• Over 3.5/4.0: 100% Scholarship.
• From 3.0 to below 3.5: 75% Scholarship.
• From 2.5 to below 3.0: 50% Scholarship.
• Below 2.5: 0% scholarship.

TTU Economic Research Center will provide support to students upon a Student Loan Scheme at no interest or provide part time jobs for students who desire to pay the tuition fee.

After receiving the agreement from ASEAN-BAC, Tan Tao University will be pleased to offer 50 scholarships for 50 students from ASEAN, worth up to USD 27,500 per student.

Scholarships

The program provides two state-commissioned places for studies, which exempts from tuition fee (deadline for applying for state-commissioned place is 1 July, 2012).

All foreign students are encouraged to apply for the Ragnar Nurkse scholarship, named after probably the most internationally recognized Estonian scientist of the 20th century. The scholarship, in the amount of 7 200 euros, will be financed through the budget of TUT Department of Public Administration and it will be awarded to a student who will start his/her studies at the MA in Technology Governance programme in the academic year 2012/2013.

The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of candidates’ previous professional and academic accomplishments (minimum GPA to be considered for selection is 3.5). The application should also include a recommendation letter from one of student’s previous professors. Finally, student’s MA thesis proposal will be evaluated to determine whether it has the potential to create new knowledge and could be converted into a journal article.

Please send scholarship applications (a 1-2 page letter describing your thesis proposal and previous professional experience; proof of previous academic results; CV; academic recommendation letter) and other inquiries to Rainer Kattel at rainer.kattel@ttu.ee no later than May 31st 2012. In addition, 6 foreign students can apply for reimbursement of costs, related to obtaining visa, arranging health insurance and travelling to Estonia. The program will also support you in applying for scholarships from your home country or international or charitable organizations.

PhD students from universities around the world are encouraged to apply for the DoRa 5 scholarships for short term (3-10 months) study visits. TUT Deparment of Public Administration has hosted under this framework PhD students from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) and Florida International University (USA). Interested applicants should contact DPA Director Rainer Kattel.

Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika pada Tahun 2012 kembali membuka
kesempatan dan menyediakan beasiswa pendidikan S2 di luar negeri bagi
PNS di lembaga kementerian dan non-kementerian termasuk, anggota TNI/
POLRI, baik di lingkungan pemerintah pusat maupun pemerintah daerah,
lembaga pendidikan serta karyawan/karyawati swasta yang bekerja di
bidang TIK.

Persyaratan :
Lulusan sarjana (S1)
Memiliki IPK minimal 2.90 (dari skala 4)
Memiliki nilai Institutional TOEFL (ITP) minimal 570 atau IELTS minimal 6.5
Memiliki nilai Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) minimal 550
Mendapat ijin dari pejabat yang berwenang ( Bagi PNS minimal Pejabat
Eselon II, bagi dosen atau staf pengajar minimal Dekan, bagi
karyawan/karyawati swasta oleh pimpinan perusahaan)
Memiliki pengalaman kerja minimal 2 tahun
Berusia maksimal 35 tahun
Belum memiliki gelar dan tidak sedang menerima beasiswa lain dan/atau
sedang mengikuti program pendidikan S2

Formulir Pendaftaran yang telah diisi dan seluruh dokumen yang
dipersyaratkan harus dikirim via pos atau diantar langsung dan diterima
Panitia Seleksi dengan alamat tersebut di bawah ini paling lambat
tanggal 29 Februari 2012 (Cap Pos).
