Program Research Student
Keberangkatan 2014 untuk Umum

Pendaftaran untuk keberangkatan tahun 2014 telah dibuka pada 1 April 2013 dan akan ditutup pada tanggal 30 April 2013.

Program ini ditujukan untuk mereka yang berminat dalam program research student di perguruan tinggi di Jepang.
Peminat pada waktu menjalani research student diperbolehkan melamar ke program degree (S-2 / S-3 / professional graduate course) atau meneruskan program S-3 setelah menyelesaikan program S-2 / professional graduate course, apabila lulus seleksi tes ujian yang diberikan oleh universitas yang bersangkutan.
Peminat juga dapat langsung masuk ke program degree tanpa mengikuti research student apabila telah mendapatkan izin dari universitas yang bersangkutan. Beasiswa diberikan tanpa ikatan dinas, mencakup biaya kuliah dan biaya hidup.

PERSYARATAN
  1. Lahir pada dan setelah tanggal 2 April 1979.
  2. IPK minimal 3.0 dari tingkat perguruan tinggi terakhir
  3. Nilai TOEFL-PBT minimal 550 atau TOEFL-IBT 79 atau IELTS Minimal 6.0, atau nilai Japanese Language Proficiency Test minimal level 2.
  4. Memilih bidang studi yang sama dengan disiplin ilmu sebelumnya.
  5. Bersedia belajar Bahasa Jepang.
  6. Sehat jasmani dan rohani.

Korea National University of Arts

As an affiliated organization of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea(hereafter MCST), the Korea National University of Arts runs the short-term fellowship program for Art educators and professionals called Art Major Faculty ‘Explore K-Arts’(hereafter, AMFEK). AMFEK is sponsored by the MCST and invites professionals and academic researcher in various art fields from abroad each year for 6 months for the purpose to promote artistic cooperation and cultural understanding and introduce Korean traditional and contemporary culture.
 Program Objectives
  To promote the artistic and cultural network and cooperation by inviting art educators, researchers, or professional artists from institutions specialized in arts around the world
  To allow students to experience cultural diversity through exchange with invited art professionals and to strengthen the artistic creativity
■ Program Outline
  Invitation Eligibility
-          Professionals working actively as faculty members, artists, or art administrators of an artistic/cultural institution (Ages 25~45)
-          Field of Program:  6 schools* of Korea National University of Arts
* Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Drama, Film/TV/ Multimedia, Korean Traditional Arts
-          Region : Asia, Africa, East Europe
-          Period :   Jun. 1 ~ Dec. 1, 2013 (Apprx. 6 months)
-          Requirement: Fluent in English OR in Korean language
-          Number of Participant:  4
 * Former CPI Participants cannot apply.

 Support to Participant
-          1 round-trip airfare(economy class, up to 2,000 USD)
-          Accommodation : an en suite bedroom 
-          Living expenses: KRW 900,000
 ( apprx. USD 700, subject to change according to currency rate)
-          Korean language lessons(200 hours)
-          Insurance, Cultural field trips, etc.
-          Partial or full support on proposed projects such as workshop, symposium, exhibition, performance, etc. according to its feasibility and importance
    *Living expenses, material cost or research cost beyond the above should be charged on each participant.
 Activity and Obligation
-          Final report (Memoire, Performance, Exhibition, Film or Documentary production, etc.)
-          200 hours of Korean language lesson

-          Participation in cultural events for the reciprocal cultural understanding; Festival, Seminar, Special Lecture, etc.

1 K-Arts faculty member will be paired with the AMFeK participant as a mentor

Shari'ah Scholarship Award (SA) from The International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance

The International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) invites qualified students with excellent academic achievements and active in co-curricular activities to apply for the Shari'ah Scholarship Award (SA) to pursue their higher education at either local or overseas universities. The Shari'ah Scholarship Award is part of the Fund for Shari'ah Scholars in Islamic Finance, which was established to enhance knowledge, research, talents, and intellectual discourse in the field of Shari'ah. The Fund represents Bank Negara Malaysia's commitment to strengthen the development of the Islamic financial industry.

Eligible Study programmes:

  • Postgraduate (Master or Doctorate) in Shariah or Islamic finance studies at recognized institutions of higher learning;
  • Undergraduate studies at recognized institutions of higher learning in the field of Shari'ah with a double degree or a minor in one of the following disciplines: Islamic banking; Conventional banking; Accounting; Law; Economics; Finance; Management; or other related fields appropriate to the development of the Islamic financial industry.
  • CIFP, only for those with Shariah background.

Essential Requirements
  • The scholarship is open to citizens of all countries.
  • Applicants have to secured admission at a recognized institution of higher learning. Applicants are required to pursue either a Bachelor, CIFP , Master or Doctorate programme, as defined above, in a fulltime programme.
  • For a postgraduate application, applicants are required to have a CGPA of at least 3.5 or its equivalent.
  • For an undergraduate application, applicants are required to have a CGPA of at least 3.3 or its equivalent (for the first semester result).
  • Current students enrolled in the programmes specified above may also apply for the scholarship.
  • Applicants should not be in receipt of any other scholarship award.

Chulabhorn Graduate Institute – ASEAN Foundation Joint Post-graduate Scholarship Program in Science and Technology
(for Academic Year 2013)

The ASEAN Foundation, an initiative of the Leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), was established on 15 December 1997 to help bring about shared prosperity and a sustainable future for the peoples of all ASEAN countries. It has been mandated to promote greater awareness of ASEAN and greater interaction among its peoples and their increased participation in ASEAN activities as well as to undertake development cooperation activities that enhance mutual assistance, address equitable economic development and reduce poverty. This year, 7 (seven) scholarships are available for ASEAN nationals (except Thai citizen) who are interested to pursue a Master Degree at the CGI. Selection of successful applicants will be based on merit.
Eligibility
  • Scholarships are open to bonafide ASEAN nationals (except Thai citizen)
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00
  • Have at least 2 years work experiences in related field. Applicants with laboratory research experiences will receive favorable consideration
  • Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized test of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)

Scholarship Coverage

The Politecnico di Milano Scholarships 2012

The Politecnico di Milano wishes to announce that fifty 10,000 Euro scholarships are now available to international students interested in enrolling in the various Master programs at its campuses in Como and Lecco.

A variety of degree programs are open including several available in English:

* Master of Science in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering;
* Master of Science in Building Engineering; and
* Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Master of Science programs are also offered in: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Environmental Engineering, which are taught in Italian with support in English. The program is open to applicants who serve as part time or permanent faculty members of state and private institutions of higher education in Indonesia. Applicants will possess:

  • a Bachelor (S1) degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (4.00 scale)
  • a leadership qualities
  • a good understanding of Indonesian and international cultures
  • a demonstrated commitment to the chosen field of study
  • a willingness to return to Indonesia upon completion of the Fulbright-DIKTI program
  • a minimum institutional TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS score of 6.0 or IBT score of 79/80. Please note that TOEFL prediction or TOEFL-like score cannot be accepted.

DISCIPLINES

All disciplines and fields of study are eligible for a Fulbright award. The fields of study covered by the Fulbright scholarship program in the past were limited to the Social Sciences and Humanities. Since 2004, however, the policy has been changed to include also other disciplines with the exception of fields related to patient care or medical training nor to continue their study at medical school.

TAHAP PENYELEKSIAN
  1. Kedutaan Besar Jepang melakukan seleksi dokumen, dan akan memberitahukan kepada mereka yang lolos 1 (satu) minggu sebelum ujian tertulis. (Kurang lebih 100 pelamar dipilih melalui seleksi dokumen ini.)

  2. Ujian tertulis Bahasa Jepang dan Bahasa Inggris akan dilaksanakan di Jakarta, Surabaya, atau Medan pada tanggal 18 Juni 2012(Bahasa Inggris sebagai ujian pilihan. Nilai yang lebih tinggi akan dipakai untuk pertimbangan seleksi).

  3. Wawancara akan diadakan di Jakarta bagi seluruh peserta ujian tertulis pada pertengahan bulan Juli 2012 sampai selesai , sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah ditentukan oleh Kedubes Jepang (biaya transportasi dan akomodasi tidak disediakan Kedubes Jepang).

  4. Bagi yang lolos seleksi di Kedubes Jepang akan diberikan surat keterangan sbb:
    1. berkas formulir beserta dokumen yang telah diberi stamp Kedutaan Jepang,
    2. surat keterangan untuk perguruan tinggi di Jepang, dan
    3. lembar “Letter of Acceptance”.
    Pelamar boleh memilih maksimal 3 perguruan tinggi untuk mendapatkan izin penerimaan sebagai mahasiswa program degree atau research student, atau “Letter of Acceptance” (izin penerimaan tidak resmi) sebagai research student.

Juga, jika pelamar tidak mencapai kuota atau kompetisi pendaftar tak terlalu ketat, anda bisa memiliki peluang untuk diterima. Ada yang pada semester ganjil mendaftar tidak diterima. Tetapi, ketika pembukaan semester genap diterima PSMIL saat mau mencoba daftar lagi.

Beasiswa s2 dan S3 di The University of Adelaide – Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI)

The University of Adelaide offers a scholarships scheme for international students undertaking postgraduate research study. Its purpose is to attract high quality overseas postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research effort. The selection for scholarships is extremely competitive.

A number of ASI scholarships may be available in the mid year round of scholarships for semester 2, 2012 to outstanding international students from any country undertaking postgraduate research in any academic discipline.
The ASI provides:

Course tuition fees for two years for a Masters degree by Research and three years for a Doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs only);
An annual living allowance of approximately $23,728 (2012 value) for the normal duration of the program; and
If the award holder holds a subclass 574 visa the award covers the cost of compulsory standard Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Worldcare policy for the student and their spouse and dependents (if any) for the period of the scholarship. If the award holder does not hold a subclass 574 visa then he/she is responsible for the cost of health insurance.

The scholarship does NOT cover visa application fees.

Applicants should hold at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honours degree. This is a four year degree with a major research project in the final year. Other criteria that will be taken into consideration is undergraduate performance, bachelor and honours awards and scholarships, other postgraduate degrees, publications in internationally refereed journals, the presentation of conference papers and relevant industry experience.

Applications for these scholarships are always highly competitive. Generally ASI recipients have completed a Masters degree including a significant research component and have several publications and relevant work and research experience.
Conditions

ASI Scholarship will be awarded strictly on academic merit. Extra-curricular achievements will not be considered.
Citizens and Permanent Residents of Australia, and citizens of New Zealand are ineligible.
Those undertaking research via remote candidature are ineligible.
International applicants are not eligible for an ASI if they have already commenced the degree for which they are seeking an award, unless they can establish that they were unable to apply for an ASI in the last round of the previous calendar year.
International applicants who have not provided evidence of their meeting English language proficiency requirements by the closing date are not eligible for an ASI.
International applicants must not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to an Australian Research Doctorate degree or, if undertaking a Research Masters degree, not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Masters degree.
Candidates are required to enrol in the University of Adelaide as ‘international students’ and must maintain ‘international student’ status for the duration of their enrolment in the University.
Scholarships holders must commence study at The University of Adelaide in semester 2, 2012. No ASI may be commenced after 30 November 2012.
Scholarship winners will not be permitted to defer commencement until 2013.
Applicants who applied in previous international major scholarship rounds are not eligible to apply again.
The offer of an ASI scholarship is contingent upon a student not being offered another award by the Commonwealth of Australia, The University of Adelaide, or an overseas sponsor. The University reserves the right to withdraw an offer of a scholarship at any time prior to enrolment if it is advised that a awardee has been offered a scholarship equal to or in excess of the financial value of the award offered by the University

Closing Date: 1 May 2012. We strongly recommend that all applicants submit their application and all required documents well before the closing date. Incomplete applications at the scholarship application deadline will not be considered for a scholarship.
