The Comprehensive Hearing Center (CHC) at the University Hospital of Wuerzburg offers the position of a

Doctoral Student (f/m) (100%)

The company funded research project uses psychoacoustic and electrophysiological measures in cochlear implant subjects to develop optimized coding strategies for auditory neuroprotheses.

The CHC provides a rich interdisciplinary training environment within one of Germany's largest cochlear implant centers. Candidates can be integrated into the Ph.D. program of the Graduate School of Life Sciences. Applicants should have a Master's degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in engineering, physics, neuroscience or related disciplines. Experience with Matlab, C/C++, and LabView are a plus.

The position is available for two years with the possibility of extension for another three years (contingent on satisfactory progress).
