Program Description
BAGSS invites applications from highly qualified graduates from the fields of Sociology, Psychology, Educational Science, Political Science, Economics, Demography, and Statistics. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in one of the aforementioned subjects or be very close to completion. (The degree must be completed by the time of admission to BAGSS. The next admission date is April 1, 2015.)
The Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS) in Germany currently invites applications for 12 doctoral fellowships (positions or scholarships with a duration of up to three years). To apply the positions, candidates must hold a Master’s degree from the fields of Sociology, Psychology, Educational Science, Political Science, Economics, Demography, and Statistics. The application deadline for the winter term 2014/15 expired on March 31.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants need to provide a research proposal for their doctoral dissertation project which fits thematically to at least one of the four academic pillars of BAGSS.
Applicants must have an excellent command of English. If English is not your native tongue, you need to supply proof of proficiency.
