Research laboratories of the Paris-Saclay Campus propose numerous PhD subjects, with the aim of providing cutting edge training. If you wish to join us and carry out high-level research in a remarkably rich scientific environment, have a look at our PhD proposals

The Department “Physics Of light and Matter” (PhOM) of  the Université Paris-Saclay gathers about 40 research laboratories, mostly working in the fields of:

• optics, ultra-fast and intense laser physics,
• diluted and condensed matter physics,
• complex matter and statistical physics,
• nanophysics

PhOM  laboratories are located in the Paris-Saclay Campus (in  Orsay, Palaiseau and Saclay area), 20 km south from Paris, with  easy access by public transportation.

How to proceed:

• Choose a subject from  the list of PhD subjects

• Contact directly  your potential PhD supervisor (contact email available for each proposal).

It is compulsory for a PhD student to have  financial support (salary, scholarship, grant...) at the level required by the French law. There is a variety of different financial supports, among which your potential supervisor will select with you those which are most suitable for your case.

PhD positions  usually start in October for a duration of typically 3 years. The deadlines for grant applications range from April to June, and it is usually necessary that you build up your PhD project with the laboratory starting no later than March.

Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Kasetsart University, Bangkok Campus calls for applications for International ASEAN Students' Scholarships
Deadline: 30 April 2015

Successful candidates must be a citizen of ASEAN member countries excluding Thailand, and be accepted for admission to the M.S. Agricultural and Resource Economics Program for 2015 academic year.

Conditions:
- tuition fee waiver
- 8,000 baht/mo (US$ 245) stipend for 24 months
- up to 50,000 baht (US$1,500) research expenditure/year for 2 years
- 4,000 baht/year insurance coverage for 2 years
- must maintain 3.5/4.0 GPA every semester or the scholarship will be terminated
- must publish at least 1 paper in Thailand Citation Index or Scopus journals within 3 years after the start of the program

Are you considering studying integrated water management in Australia next year? Many scholarships, including Australia Awards Scholarships, are currently available to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) in 2016.

Applications for the Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) are currently open in selected countries across the Asia-Pacific region. AAS are long term development awards administered by the Australian Government. They provide full scholarships to recipients from developing countries to undertake full-time study in Australia. 

The IWC Master of Integrated Water Management is highly relevant if any of the following categories (or related categories) are listed in your country's development priorities / areas of study: Water and sanitation; Water resource management; Natural resources management; Sustainable development; Environmental management; Environmental engineering or Governance.
